different shipping options for super categories?

   Hi, we would like to have for one product range:  fixed price shipping no matter how many items ordered

and for another range: shipping by weight.  We need to do this as they are shipped from different physical locations with different costs to us.  We have set up the website so you can't easily order from both ranges at the same time, its one or the other per order.

can we setup using the product manager so all items in one supercategory show only the one fixed price shipping method and all items in another show only the weight based method?

	Hi, The best thing to do is to use a basic shipping method. Then you can set the shipping cost on each product. Many Thanks Support

	Hi, can you clarify the above, we need one entire range to be fixed price no matter how many items, another range price varying per item based on weight. can you please spell out the steps for this more clearly, I understand that I can set a price per item based on weight in a basic shipping method, but how can I set the other range to be fixed postage no matter how many items using basic shipping methods? does the new control panel provide enhancements to shipping based on category like this?
