Make sure you don't have compatibility view turned on with IE9. It seems to cause the Checkout button to disappear.

Indeed, you are spot on.
Compatibility view off, checkout button back on. I think it would be desirable to make the dropcart work in compatibility view if possible. The existing cart works fine in compatibility view. Edited by rscass - 26 January 2013 at 10:46pm |

I've just had a look at your demo store and the drop down is not working (it was this morning when I first had a look). It just opens the info in a new window
