I want to offer a product with free shipping, but every time I test the set up it shows an amount under shipping. The only way I can get it to show Free is by clicking on the down arrow to manually select Free. Any ideas?

Open the sales manager, click the product code for your freebie, click 'shipping' on the drop down panel, then use overrides to set the shipping cost to zero for your chosen shipping methods.
Downside is that if other things are added to cart, shipping is still free. Other way is to use weight-based shipping, assign a weight of zero, then set the shipping cost for 0g to £0 in your chosen shipping method. That way, if something heavy gets put in the cart as well, the shipping cost will be added. Richard. |
