Hi
We are experiencing a problem with customers attempting to use SOLO cards. We are integtrated with Pay-Pal Pro, and have also signed up for 3-D secure. Although the customer successfully completes the 3-D secure process, the payment is being rejected. There is an X against the CVV2MATCH field in Romancart, and an error code of 12000. SOLO cards are rarely used on our site, but when they have been, they have resulted in the same error every time. The most recent error relates to transaction RC6639530. Is this an issue for Romancart or Pay-Pal Pro (or both) to resolve. Kind Regards Ian Pressman Sunglasses Online www.sunglasses-on-line.co.uk |

*** Correction the above ***
It has only been happening to all SOLO transactions since November. The last successful SOLO transaction was late September. There were no attempted purchases with SOLO cards between late Sept and early Nov, so I think something has happened to the Romancard or Pay-Pal Pro back end between late Sept and early Nov. Hi Support
Have you any information yet as to why SOLO cards are being rejected? Cheers Ian |

Hi,
The most likely cause of rejection of RC6639530 would be if the CVV code was not entered by the customer. We do not process the transactions - they are passed to PayPal for processing, therefore you need to consult with PayPal support regarding this. (Ignore our first post before this edit!) We have communication from Carndinal Commerce regarding this transaction however i'm not sure that it is their issue. Many Thanks Support Edited by Support - 06 January 2010 at 11:16am |
