Hi,
As per earlier posts. It's just the same as setting it up on the product. Instead of setting up the modifiers on the products, set it up as shared modifiers, then apply it to the products you require. It's probably best if you give us a call on 01225 588000 if you need further assistance with this. Many Thanks Support |

Hi Red,
Thanks for the phone call earlier. I can see now where you were going wrong. Follow these steps and let us know if this still isn't clear... - Go to 'manage > products' and click on shared modifiers - Add a shared modifier name - Then click on edit - Here you can enter variations for itemname2 and itemname3 and so on Let me know if you need help with this. Thanks James |

Hi Red,
That is how it works. You create one list with all the variations you need inside it (itemname2, itemname3 and so on) and then you apply that one list to a product. Thanks James |

Why?, with the existing modifiers we can add more than one variations lists to a product ie. a list for colours, a list for backing, a list for size, a list for studs etc. Red |

Hi,
Yes and you can still do that. As before you create a list with all the variations you need, this one list can contain up to nine variations, just like normal modifiers. Then you apply that one list which contains all the variations you need to one product. Thanks James |

Hi Support,
Ok got it now, have a couple of questions. Under modifier selections there is a box for price so if say black option was £1 and Brown was £1.50 would that alter the price on the real time price shown? Also once you select to use a shared modifier could there be a way to edit it once set up for a product as our products share a lot of modifiers but tend to have one modifier choice difference for each product.
