I am looking to see how I can do the following.

I have a product available for sale, mini qty 1 and max is stock available. That is all fine.

I'd like to offer a custom version of the product, with a MOQ of 5, but I'd like to have a single one off admin charge to handle the customisation (basically to cover the cost of the paperwork to agree the customisation). The admin charge is a fixed cost, regardless of how many items the customer buys.

How can I do this?

Hi,
Set it up as a completely separate product.
Use the stocksource to link the stock to the original product if required.
Many Thanks

That was my first thought, separate product with linked stock, MOQ of 5.

But how do I also have the one-off charge regardless of item quantity?

Hi,
That gets more complex.
You'd have to set the dependentmaster to yes.
Set up a different product for the charge and set dependentsub to yes. Then add them both to the cart at the same time with the same button.
Many Thanks

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

Is there a link to documentation on the master/sub side of things?
