Hi
I only use PayPal on my site to take payment and I advertise this clearly. However, on the Checkout page https://secure.romancart.com/payment/checkout.asp it says at the bottom "Click here to pay with your credit/debit card"

I want to change that to say "Click here to pay via PayPal" or "Click here to pay with your PayPal Account or credit/debit card"

Cant find anywhere to do this.. Is it an "editable field" and if not.. can it be made that way?

Many thanks

Sooty

Hi Sooty,

See this post; Mike's answers tell you how to do it.

Hi Dave

Unfortunately its not at the "Basket" stage.. its the next stage on the "Checkout Page" - https://secure.romancart.com/payment/checkout.asp

At the bottom of the page is the following (underneath all the fields to complete for "Billing/Delivery address"). it says "Click here to pay with your Credit/Debit Card"   which when you click on takes you directly to the PayPal site to enter your payment details by Credit Card or sign in to a PayPal account.

It isnt a PayPal button Dave.. it is a Roman Cart coding hyperlink box.

Many thanks anyway if you dont know the answer.. it's just that people think they have to pay by credit card and not their PayPal account (unless they click on it to proceed) and possibly bail out of the site.

Kind regards

Ian

Ian,

The second post down in that thread explains how to set up a translation to change the payment button text on the checkout page, that's what you need to do.

Been there. I wasn't comfortable either with the message being on the left and the PayPal button on the far-right.

In my English-English translation, I changed "Click here to pay with your Credit/Debit Card" to read "Use the PayPal button on the right to pay by credit-card"
