Please Support can you sort out the Order Edit - as it stands if you select to edit an order it wipes out all of the customer entered information that they have selected from our drop down selection boxes so if a customer emails us to say they made a mistake on say neck measurement and we go to edit it then all the other check box information is taken away and has to be re typed just to correct one thing. This is not ideal as it takes so long for what should be a simple job. If we simply write it in by hand then the customer receives email updates with the old information on it which they take to mean that we have made and sent the wrong thing which results in more email to answer - we spend enough time on the computer as it is.

Please Please Support is there anything you can do on this?

Hi,
I'm not sure what you mean by this. You can edit the product details when you edit an order? Or are you referring to extra checkout fields?
Many Thanks

When you click on an order number it shows you the order with an edit order box, if you then click that to edit the order it wipes out the customers entered information - our orders are made up from check boxes for order information that our customers select from ie. colour choice, finish choice, dog or bitch, length, backing etc so if when we wish to alter just part of the customers entered information by selecting to edit the order all of the customers entered selections are then removed and we have to retype them all back in again.

I have gone into an order that has been already completed. I choose to 'Edit This Order' and most of the order details can now be edited and/or deleted. If I click in any field, even the ordered item, I can change the details as I wish. I was able to add a trailing '...' after the ordered item, update the persons title to a 'Mr', and then choose to 'Save Changes'. And the order details are now changed.

Maybe it is something to do with the browser on your PC. Try a friends browser in another place to see if it still occurs.

Dear Support
Thank you for sorting this problem out for us, it is now much qicker for us to use as we can now just edit the bits that need it and not have to type the whole order in again.
Thanks again
