Hi,
Since PayPal had a technical issue 36 hours ago we have noticed an increase in failures connecting to PayPal's api's. We have engineers both on our side and at PayPal looking into why this is and if there is anything we can do about it from our end. Until this is resolved, please double check your PayPal account and especially any 'not completed' transactions. There is an increased chance that orders will be Paid on PayPal but not show up as Paid on RomanCart. This appears to affect Express Checkout and Hosted PCI Pro. Many Thanks Support |

Hi James, we are having the odd reports of the checkout freezing on customers resulting in abandoned carts.
Also on the sales dashboard the payment type field was not showing any value until about 20 mins ago when they just re populated, do you think paypal could still be having connectivity issues with you? Kind Regards, |

Hi,
PayPal just informed us that they fixed the issue about 10 minutes ago. Maybe their fix affected their system for a bit. Please let us know if you are still seeing problems. Many Thanks Support |

Hi,
I just tried a transaction and it worked with no problems. So if they had a further issue it looks like it is ok now. Many Thanks Support |

I've had two occasions over the past 24 hours where a PayPal payment transaction has taken about 30mins to complete, in the meantime the customers have re-submitted a fresh order and ended up with a duplication which we've had to cancel & refund
See the following orders RC19636322 - first order submitted at 11:26AM and payment Confirmation Email received 12:01 RC19636478 - order re-submitted at 11:59AM and payment Confirmation Email received 12:07 RC19633985 - first order submitted at 16:52PM and payment Confirmation Email received 17:28 RC19634100 - order re-submitted at 17:20PM and payment Confirmation Email received 17:23 Anyone else having this problem? Hi Nick,
Take a look at www.paypal-notify.com I just checked, and unfortunately it does show issues with IPN and PDT as below: Start time: Sep 7, 2016 03:53 PM BST End time: Sep 8, 2016 07:30 AM BST. You'll see the full details on that site. Many Thanks Support |

I've just received the following email from a regular customer, (his attempted order was RC19643538)
'I just tried to order online but my card was declined by Barclay’s who contacted me to say that my money would of gone to a company in Singapore and that it must be a web site scam' The worrying thing is that I had a call from another customer yesterday that mentioned that their bank's fraud team contacted them to advise that he money would of gone to a company in Singapore' Your urgent investigation would be appreciated Nick G. |

Note:
As a precaution I've just disabled my 'PayPal Pro (PCI Compliant)' integration and reverted back to 'PayPal Website Payments Pro (Payflow Edition)' as I suspect the PayPal Pro (PCI Compliant) integration has been compromised by hackers Nick G. |
