Half my products are download links stored on roman cart itself
quite often these links will disappear from the product manager- or will not download from the confirmation email
also some will not save- i click save once the link is in and when i go back it is missing

this is not good for business

please help

it just happens spontaneously right now there are 2 products where it won't save the download url

you might have to tell Support what your store id is. Also some info about the items that go missing (itemcode, description, etc). If you are trying to save new items and not succeeding, I fell in to the trap of the Save button being further down the screen than I thought it would be.

Maybe try it with a download url which is shorter - it might be exceeding the size limit.

seemed to be fixed then bam new product won't save the download url yet again
cart id 27673
it will probably fix itself tomorrow again but this is getting seriously annloying

Hi,
If you are having problems saving the downloadurl then it is likely that there is a problem with the download url. It might be exceeding the maximum length, try a shorter url to see if this fixes it.
If you are changing any other properties on the product at the same time then these may be the source of the problrm. Only change one thing at a time and it will become clear which one is causing the roblem.

yea no phone support with roman cart how annoying if i can;t get this sorted soon i may have to look elsewhere for a cart- it is driving me bananas

i keep getting the same reply from support and it takes them 19hrs to repsond- rediculous when you are trying to run a business with this

Have you tested what happens when you try a shorter URL, or only changing one property at once, as per Support's previous posts?
