I am having a problem with the RDD with some customers. I get a few emails saying that they cant see any price information or add to cart buttons. When i check on a few different computers and browsers it all is working perfectly. I have since discovered that it may be due to certain web browsers blocking scripts. For example if i use the Brave web browser and have "Scripts Blocked" turned on i don't see any price, stock or Add to car information. If i turn "Scripts Blocked" off then i get the information as it should be displayed.

My question is, is there anyway to make sure that the RDD is always displayed so that customers see all the RDD without having to look at script settings or have i coded something wrong? My worry is that customers will click on a product and think its a dead product as there is not price/add to cart RDD shown and will think the website is obsolete.

Any help appreciated.

Hi,
Answered by email, however for anyone reading this the issue won't be scripts (which would stop many websites from working) but that the links to the cart are http:// instead of https:// This would stop it working if the website is accessed using https://

Please see “How do I make my shopping cart secure using https, SSL and showing a padlock?” At the bottom of https://www.romancart.com/shopping-cart/faq/ for full instructions on how to resolve this.

Essentially you simply change all references to the cart to https://

Many Thanks
