Support,
As the Inland Revenue require companies to keep a record of sales for 6 years plus the current working year would it be possible for RomanCart to retain details of our sales on the Sales Manager for 7 years to enable traders to comply with the Inland Revenue requirements? Thanks in Anticipation |

Hi,
7 Years data is a huge amount of data. It is something we would like to do however we would need 'archive' servers to offload all of the old data onto and charge accordingly. Right now we recommend downloading your sales data for storage. Many Thanks Support |

Support,
As well as the Inland Revenue requirements, we often need to use the Sales Manager search facility to look up a customers purchase because some of the products we sell have a five year warrantee The problem with downloading the sales data to a separate file is that when we need to look up details of a customers sale we would have to search in two separate places and this is not very practical when you've got the customer hanging on the phone! I don't mind paying RomanCart for an 'archive service' providing your charge is reasonable. Regards Nick G. |
