Ship Status error

I've encountered an error when attempting to change the 'Ship Status' for returned items.

When you raise a negative despatch (e'g' -1) for Goods returned for refund the screen correctly shows the shipping status as 'Returned' (with a pink background) but when you go back to the 'Manage Sales' screen the despatch status still shows 'Despatched' and the incorrect status is also displayed when you click on the 'Ship Status' icon to view the despatch history log.

Order RC8589025 gives an example of the problem (Cart ID 23743)
