Now that Google is implementing GA4 and deprecating the current UA, is there a plan for integration of GA4?

Hi,
You do not need to use the built in Google analytics feature in RomanCart for this - which will be removed at some point. The current feature set related to UA simply formats the syntax and pushes out the relevant script that is connected to your UA account. Once you have that, you are able to then paste the script onto every page of your website that you want it on With GA4, you can create the tag manager, and any other scripts that you want to track the various aspects, directly in your GA4 account and then paste onto every page you wish to track in much the same way. So whilst there are no plans to integrate it in the same way as it has previously existed, you can still use GA4 with your cart in much the same way |
