Hi,
Please note that up until now, on RomanCart WorldPay showed a status of 'Paid' when an order was successful. Now when it is Successful, it will either show 'Success' or 'PreAuth' depending on whether PreAuth is being used. Currently PreAuth triggers the same things as Success transactions, however in the next few days this will become definable. If you have set up colours on the Sales Manager, you may want to define new ones for these new payment status' Many Thanks Support |

Hi support
Just had a sale that was marked as "success" via our worldpay gateway but it was a paypal express payment transaction which is linked to our Worldpay account, like card transactions taken via worldpay we can choose either to accept or reject the payments being paid for through the gateway by paypal. We decided to reject this payment due to the address the customer entering being the UK and not the USA - So the success result is wrong. Red |

Hi,
The success status is simply the value returned by Worldpay. Previously it would be displayed as paid. However now it will simply be 'success'. If you do not believe it should be 'success' then you need to discuss this with Worldpay. Many Thanks Support |

Dear Support
"Now when it is Successful, it will show 'Success'" - that is the result we have just been senton our sale and that marks the item on the cart as a green dot to show it is a paid item. I believe that now you have made the changes that this sale as with all our sales should now show on the cart as 'PreAuth' and a red dot as they are not paid or accepted till we check the Worldpay transaction details and capture them, which is the point to these changes ie. the cart does not mark items as paid if not captured and accepted. Hi Support
We have just received another sale but this time via card details - again marked "Sucess" so I guess it is because Worldpay are only sending you the one return value so at the moment your changes make no difference - I will contact Worldpay regarding their return values to you. Red |

Hi,
WorlPay returns the and 'AuthMode' parameter which describes whether the transaction was 'Auth' or 'PreAuth'. As this terminology refers to Card Processing, there is not a way to detect the status of the PayPal payment in the way you describe if you use PayPal within WorldPay. We recommend you connect your PayPal account directly to your RomanCart account and not through WorldPay. In fact i'm not sure what benefit there can possibly be in connecting to PayPal through WorldPay or any other payment gateway. Many thanks Support Edited by Support - 08 February 2012 at 8:16am |

Thank you support I will take a look into that, we set it up via our Worldpay gateway as we thought that would be the easiest way to set it up.
