I'm not sure if this is something that could be done through on-site coding.... if it is, please could someone give me some clues how ?

We have a few web-pages where there are dozens & dozens of closely related items. I know we can't use RDD on them, of course. But what I'd like to be able to do is (as I've seen on a lot of websites, particularly OS Commerce ones) for the button for each item to have a default quantity of zero, and for the customer to be able to enter the quantity he wants into each one, and click an "add selected items to cart" button.

It'd be good to still have the normal current method as well, but this would be good for when a customer is buying lots of items from the same webpage. I've had complaints from customers who get fed up with the page reloading each time they add an item to the cart (even with the go to cart option set to off).

Is there a way of doing something like this already, or is it something RomanCart would have to do ? At the very least, is there a way to avoid the "reload the page each time you add an item to cart" problem ?

Thanks !

hi,

This is all possible through creating your own custom HTML code. What you require is a Form. If you are confident in HTML our code can easily be addapted.

Kind Regards

Hi Oliver - thank you for such a quick and useful reply !

I think I'm borderline competent with html rather than competent, so it's definitely a case of having a play with it in a test page before launching it on an unsuspecting public.....

Cheers
