Could anyone tell me if the following is expected behaviour please?
I have created a few items in product manager. I add an item to basket.(in this case QTY=1) I then continue shopping and add to basket the same item again.(QTY=1) The basket quantity count remains unchanged at 1. Should the basket quantity be incremented each time the same item is added? I have experimented with different styles of add buttons and quantities, but it is only ever the last add that is written to the basket. Many thanks Steve |

Hi Steve
It should add the second item to the first one and so increase the total to 2 take a look at ours if you wish www.aecollars.co.uk Red |

Hi,
It's optional and the behaviour can be changed at 'Tools / Options / Basket'. The 4th item down the page allows you to "Add quantity to existing cart item instead of replacing it". Hope this helps, |

Hi Red
Many thanks for your advice. I'm still at the R & D stage so I've a long way to go. Great website. Cheers Steve |

Many thanks for this tip Dave P.
I was looking for a far more technical reason for it not working (I'm integrating RC with Joomla) - clearly I missed this option Like your site by the way. Thanks again Steve |
