Delivery note date problem

   Because of the season I am having to put items into Royal Mail after the cut-off time on Saturdays which means - in theory - the deliveries actually start on the following Monday. In the RC on-line form you can change the sending date ok for the delivery advice email. Unfortunately RC is over-riding this date entry and setting the shipping date to the date of entry which makes it look to customers that the items are delayed or lost. As RC allows over-ride of the shipping date - why isn't it "sticking"?
