Mine took place on 12th August
PayPal standard order number RC10336849 Store ID 42844 We also take PayPal Express - no Problem Google Checkout - No Problem This is the only time (I think) it has happened, we don't use stock controll,so it's not a problem |

In the last few days, we're getting two RC confirmation emails for virtually all Paypal sales, using Paypal Stnadard. NO other emails are being duplicated so I'm sure it's not our mail server. We've only occasionally had this problem in the past, it seems to have suddenly become worse. This suggests either RC or Paypal have changed something ?

Hi
We are still sometimes getting 2 confirmation emails when people pay with Paypal Standard and today we had a very worried customer ring us as he also received 2 order confirmation emails and thought he had ordered the same item twice. Order # RC10811143 Any ideas why this is still happening? Rosemarie |

FWIW, we've not had this happen to us in a long time. Nothing has changed in our Paypal settings.

We have not had a customer tell us they got double confirmation emails before. I would just like to know why this happens Rosemarie |

Hi Support,
This problem is still going on and it's causing problems with stock control. It only ever happens on Paypal orders and it's just happened on RC13418650, which had 2 products on it, for 1 off each. We got two order confirmation emails. Both products are on stock control, 1 of them is now showing a stock quantity of -1 when there was 1 in stock before the purchase (I know because it's one of the parts which I checked this morning), as notified on the 2 low stock emails which were sent out. The part number is SFSL305R, I'll leave it at -1 for today so that you can look at it. We've had loads of -1 quantities recently, where two people have gone through the basket at the same time. The fact that 2 products have been deducted from stock proves that this is an RC error, not a mail server error. It also should be impossible to go below zero stock. Please get this fixed, enough people have complained over the years. |
