   A customer had a few goes at spending some money today.

She was using a Samsung tablet which unknown to her was inserting a space when auto-completing her email address.

My iphone does this too, so I was able to identify the issue for her when she phoned.

It appears that the same issue was also responsible for a mysterious 'failed code 12' on the customer's declined paypal express checkout payment.

Could RC look at automatically removing/ignoring whitespace before and behind email addresses?
