Now that there's a payment request link in the 'configure' section of the Sales Manager, could you possibly put an email footer field in the configuration of custom statuses, please? That way, we could configure a new status of 'Reminder', add the payment link, and send it to our account customers when their payments fall overdue.
This would be an easy and ideal solution to a problem we've had for many years.
