Does anyone know if this function is now live? or can support tell us please. I clicked the icon and found that it no longer says "this function is not available", so I tried to use it but found that it does not seem to work properly.

We have not added extra facilities for mail and telephone orders. However are you aware that you can use the Payment Gateway to process cards for phone orders? Could you explain what extra option you would want and how you would need it to work, if you want to contact us directly on the phone to discuss or to support@romancart.com please feel free to do so. Yes we know how to take the payment however if we connect the new telephone order function to Worldpay via the existing worldpay payment button we would have to enter the customers card details they have given us in as if we were the customer because the button would take us to the Worldpay payments page, which is something you are not allowed to do. If we link the telephone order to our existing custom Telephone/Fax payment button that has additional information entered asking our online customers that select this payment method to contact us within the next three days to provide their card details for payment, which is no good for the new telephone order function as the customer will have already given their payment details and do not need to be asked again to do so. So another 2 Custom Payment Methods would help as one could be set up for the Telephone Orders we enter onto the system and the other for Mail Order ones. I also know that in the past a number of users have requested more custom payment methods so adding a couple more would also help them. Red |

Hi,
You need to use a payment gateway with a MOTO account. This enables you to process the card details of the customer over the phone. With most payment gateways you have to log into their virtual terminal to do this, in which case the custom payment method may be appropriate. We will look into adding the ability to create further custom payment methods as this would be useful. Sage pay allow MOTO however not with the integration that is used by RomanCart. We are looking into integrating their VSP server integration which it would work with. Many Thanks Support |

Hi Rich, We are looking into this, for the mean time you can get around it by going to 'tools > security options' and removing the URL in the field 'only accept calls to the cart from:'. Thanks James |
