Hi
I understand Royal Mail postage prices are due to rise on 02.04.12. but as yet I haven't been able to find any details of these increases. Even my local Post Office has not been advised of the inceases yet. Does anyone know what's happening?!!! Many thanks in advance. |

I wouldn't mind so much if they provided a decent service. I've emailed the CEO of Royal Mail moya.greene@royalmail.com and will post her reply. Watch this space!

Hi
Not too sure if this will help but here's a link to the new contract prices (if you have a RM account). The bit to read is page 5 as this will be the new system, the interesting bit is they are going to do one price for 0-750g packets. This could hit a lot of businesses hard. Read and weep at: http://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/files/RM_Contract_Prices_April_2012.pdf Cheers Nobby |

We need to know the price increases however I am sure we will not be happy with them, I think this time we are in for a big jump up in prices.

Over the next 7 years they are not even going to be regulated by Offcom anymore so has freedom to set up what prices it wants. Add that to the fact it will be fully privatised soon is not good news.

Try emailing the CEO moya.greene/royalmail.com. Customer Services at Royal Mail told me yesterday that the prices would be online today, but surprise, surprise, I can't find them! I phoned Customer Services again this morning and they denied that the price increases would be online today. I just wish there was another option.
