What does this order status mean and does it affect stock levels to set an order to missing?

In manage sales I can select an order by ticking the box next to it and then from the drop down list below select 'set to missing'. It changes the ship status to 'missing'.

Hi,
Its purely for your own reference, you would use it if a package was lost in transit for example. It does not effect stock levels. Thanks James |
