Make a field entry mandatory

   I have a shop item that requires the customer to personalise. At the moment it is possible to complete the transaction without filling in this field so I want make filling this field mandatory. ie not to be able to check out without filling this field. Is this possible as it is very important?

	{exclude} when added to a drop down box selection works, you could try that Red

	Thanks for the prompt reply. The field is for personalised information (actually a name), therefore a drop down selection box is not appropriate in this situation. Is there another approach ?

	Hi, we used the {exclude} within the code for a drop down selection box we have never used a personalised information field but could you not try using the {exclude} command within the code for that? I do not know if it would work or not but it may be worth trying. Red
