    Posted: 14 July 2010 at 8:31pm
My graphics person up and quit two days ago and I just realized she deleted a whole section of our products out of the cart. They are back in the cart and the new code has been pasted and uploaded through dreamweaver. Everything seems to be working except one part number. Every time we try to add that product we get the following message.

XError: RM1-WBM - $199 is not a valid itemname2 value.

I have checked in the cart control panel and it is showing up in the same format as all other products.

You can find where I am having trouble at http://www.rugged-cctv.com/audio.shtml

On the right hand side under microphones select RM1-WBM - $199

Anyone with any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I use Dreamweaver and have had a similar problem setting a new cart up.

In Dreamweaver, find the code for the product and try removing the 2 from the end of Itemname. Dreamweaver seems to add numbers that shouldn't be there, usually if you have been copying and pasting code. It has always worked for me and I seem to remember Support posting something about this.

Regards

I tried that and unfortunately that isn't the problem. On that product page we have 28 products and only one of them is giving the following error.
XError: RM1-WBM - $199 is not a valid itemname2 value
There are no extra numbers on the storeid or itemcode sections of the code.

Any other ideas?

In Dreamweaver, run a find and replace - find itemname2 and replace with itemname.

There's one in there somewhere!
