Anyone tell me why when we add an item to the cart (we're testing an uploaded page) it shows the wrong price?
We've configured the product manager with all the right prices (just rechecked to make sure) but no matter what I do, the price comes up wrong - very wrong - by £40!!!!! |

If you have modifiers of a product and you put price in the modifier and at the top under Item Code your price will double. If the price is the same for all products in the modifiers you could either enter it for each modifier or just put it in once under the item code. Whatever you do you only need prices enter once.
However, without actually knowing if you have modifiers I can't say for certain that this is the answer to your problem. |

Hi,
Basically what happens is that any price you enter in the modifier section will be added to the main price in the product manager. If all your modifiers are the same price, just enter it in the PM and leave the modifier price blank. Conversely, if they differ, just add the variance in the modifier price; this will then be added to the price in the PM. For example, if you were selling t-shirts that were £10 blank, and £15 with a logo on them, you'd enter £10 in the PM, and £5 in the modifier price. That way, if a customer chose the one with the logo, the £5 would be added to the basic PM price, equalling £15. I know it sounds a bit complex, but it's quite simple really; just experiment for a bit, you'll soon see how it works. Edited by Amber - 11 February 2011 at 1:34pm |
