Widget use

For those of us that are unable to use the groups system are there any plans to make the old individual modifiers system work with the widgets as the widget is offered as a code option when products are created this way?

Thank you, we do not use the stock control on the modifiers so that is OK however when we tried a widget it did not change the Real Time Price when a modifier that changed the price was selected as other carts are able to do.
Re your question on using product groups we cannot use them as each of our products has far too many modifier options set to do so. colour = 2 choices, backing = 2 choices, neck measurement = 8 choices, age/sex = 0 choices, stud by D = 20 + choices, stud by Buckle = 20 + choices, middle stud = 20+ choices and on most products the choice options set are in a different order depending on the layout of the product photo ie. we offer the choice to change the Head stud by d to a different one and so on which is why we have been told that we need to use the original individual modifier system per product.

you have told me that Widgets work with non stock controlled modifiers however I have found that they do not, I provided you with the test widget online via one of our products on the 23rd April for you to see and you said that you would look into it and get back to me, do you have an update please as we wish to use the widgets on the new website design we are doing.
