In sales manager, I would find it useful to be able to tick multiple sales records and print a collated picking list of items to fetch from my store room.
Can this be done? |

Hi,
We have an order picking system designed for tablets/ipads. Would this suffice? https://admin.romancart.com/v111/info/screencast.asp?topic=orderpicking Thanks James |

Hi James,
thank you for your reply. I can see the advantages to the current system if you have multiple employees getting involved in the picking, packing and despatch. What I was suggesting was much simpler and possibly more suited to a tiny business such as mine and many others. It would be very convenient to be able to select all paid orders and generate a simple alphabetical list of items to get from my dedicated storage facility (garage) and bring in to my customer facilitation area (kitchen). If it were possible to add to the Sales Manager drop down it would be great. Order status could have an additional coloured status to go from paid -> picked -> ready to send -> despatched. However, just the current 'ready to send' would probably suffice. Regards, Richard. |

Hi,
Exporting the sales data would give you a list of everything you need to get from the store room/warehouse. You could even get technical and use excel to format the data in a specific way to your own liking. You could set up 'picked' as a custom paid status. You can do this in the sales manager by clicking 'add/edit status' at the bottom. Thanks James |

Hi James,
Thank you for your reply. I've looked at 'export sales data' as an option. 'Select date range on two calendars -> select delimiter/CSV -> save to computer -> open in excel -> filter out orders already despatched from date range -> re-sort data alphabeticaly by column xyz etc to generate an ordered picking list -> print'. What I had in mind within sales manager was 'select all -> print picking list -> print'. Regards, Richard. |
