When I edit customer details, normally to correct a misspelt Email address I also have to fill in all of their other details despite them being on the order. Just checking that this is correct?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm not totally sure I understand your question.

When you edit an order, the details are prefilled.

If they are not then maybe you are referring to the delivery address? or perhaps it is an express checkout transaction which does not technically have a billing address?

If you can give an example order number which when you click on the edit button illustrates the issue, we will take a look.

Many thanks

OK, here's an order from this morning paid with Sagepay 17842668

If I click on the customer & go to edit, the name phone number & Email address is filled in, but no address details.

If I was to edit the Email address (this one is ok), I couldn't save it without the other address details being entered as well.

It's not the end of the world, but would be better if the address that was on the order was also in the customer details.

Just read your reply again, it is the Customer Details I'm trying to edit, not the Order Details.

Hi,
I went to that order, clicked on the edit button and all the customer details are filled out.

Is this not what you are seeing?

If not, please try it on a different browser/check your browser settings.

Many Thanks

Hi,

Sorry - possibly ignore my last post!

Are you referring to the CRM, rather than editing the order?

Many Thanks

The Edit Order is fine. It is the Edit Customer that is the problem.

Hi,

The customer address is not currently stored in the CRM by default.

If a customer orders with address1 and then the next order they use a different address - which address would you expect to see on their CRM record?

Many Thanks
