maxshipping and shipping groups?

   Hi, can you tell us if max shipping is supposed to work correctly for items within a shipping group (using basic shipping method)?

We set three items in the product manager to shippinggroup "original" then set a max shipping value on all both items via a basic method in the product manager.

However when adding both products to the cart the user gets charged the shipping for each item, we want the max to be max shipping for all items in that shipping group...

possible?
