Offers - Improvements

Hi Graham.
My point to Support re the Offers Function is that it should not just put an extra item directly onto the customers basket without them first selecting to do so, this looks like they are being forced into buying an extra product that they did not select and which they may not want (even if it is at a reduced price) and I am sure would make a lot of customers just abandon the cart.
The Offers function is one of the upgrade selling points for the top level of cart so should in my view be usable.
The reason for wanting to use the function is that you can set up a time span for the offer, the set up is quick and you can link product codes to each other for the offers without having to do a lot of work on codes. It also has an edit and delete button for the offer so would be much quicker to use and a lot less fuss if it was not for the fact that it does not give the customer the choice first.
