Not sure if this helps but I've just noticed that some of following Field format errors correspond to the time of the successful payment and declined transaction for RC16696760 (£79.95)

Both these issues started occurring in June 2014 when I switched from the old PayPal Website Payments Pro (Payflow Edition) integration to PayPal Pro (PCI Compliant) integration in combination with PayPal Express Checkout

From the provided screenshot earlier, it showing Field format error. As in our documentation it states that the invalid information entered in API request.
As for 'Result not yet ready', we need also to check which API call RomanCart send to our server to ensure the responses are correct.

Can you ask RomanCart integration team about this error. Does it happen to all of their user?
Because right now, we didn't have any issue with other user in PayPal.

Hi,

It's ok - we are in direct communication with PayPal.
You can close the case you have with them.

Please can you take a look at our config instructions and see if you are able to follow the api instructions which (currently)say they are for 'non payflow' accounts.

I can confirm that I've followed your instructions to set up the PayPal Pro (PCI Compliant) payment method, I think I've got my settings configured as advised but are you able to login to my account and check it for me?

As neither RomanCart or PayPal support are able to resolve this ongoing integration issue with the PayPal Pro (PCI Compliant) payment method it appears I'm left with no alternative than to revert back to the old non PCI compliant PayPal Website Payments Pro (Payflow Edition) which works fine and reduces our vulnerabilty to fraud by reporting the results of the card address & Zip code verification checks to RomanCart so that we can make further checks before despatching the order.

Surely other RC users must be suffering this same issue, the symptoms are as follows:

A high volume of failed transactions in the PayPal daily reports with the error code 7 'Field format error' (in my case over 100 per day)

Daily problems with failed RC orders with the Payment Status: 'Result not ready'

Here's an example RC Payment Status from an order yesterday:
