Hi,
Have you got 'configure cart'/'setup payment methods'/'configure' icon for PayPal Standard/overwrite paypal address with billing address set? If so then deselect it and it will likely resolve this issue. Many Thanks Support |

Do you mean this?
Check the Country and County/State on the PayPal account against the location the customer has selected (If using regional shipping or advanced tax only) If you switch this on then make sure that any restricted regions you have created on the 'Configure Countries' screen are returned by PayPal as the County/State : |

Hi,
Are you using PayPal Express Checkout, Pro or Website Payments Standard? The option in your post is from Express Checkout but is not what I was referring to. Many Thanks Support |

Hi,
With PayPal express checkout the address details are returned by PayPal. Do you have the 'Check the Country and County/State on the PayPal account against the location the customer has selected' Option selected? Many thanks Support |

Hi,
If you uncheck it then it will work, however the cart will not check the region which the customer selects on the regions page against the location returned by PayPal. In other words someone could select UK shipping but have a PayPal address in the Canary Islands. The question is how does a Canary Islands address look when returned by PayPal as once you/we know this then you can make sure that your setup in 'configure countries' reflects this. Many Thanks Support |

I don't know how I can do this as orders using Paypal from Canaries do not complete. I have downloaded datas from RomanCart and Paypal and it does not show one single example.
Is the answer to uncheck the box and wait for it to happen and then show you the order? |

Stuart,
I had numerous problems accepting overseas payments prior to un-ticking the box 'check the Country and County/State on the PayPal account against the location the customer has selected' Even with this feature de-selected my international transactions never pass the address or Zipcode validation checks, consequently I've also had to disable PayPal's address/Zipcode validation system by setting the PayPal 'Risk Controls' to accept 'No Match' transactions in order to accept any international card payments. I've discussed this issue with PayPal Business support and they claim that overseas card issuing banks are unable to perform the the address or Zipcode validation checks! Regretfully this leaves our on-line shop door wide-open to attack from for international fraudsters Happy Days! Regards Nick G. |
