Product images on basket page

We all have the product images as we put them on the product pages. However they are not often at the size we would want if we chose to show product images in basket.

Also ideally all product images in the basket would need to be the same width so that if more that one item is added all the images and text allign vertically or it is going to look messy.

It would be very helpful first not to have to create our whole range of product images at a size suitable to include in the basket. Could there be a function that we can use our existing product images and specify a maximum width they will be shown at in the basket. So for example in the PM we can set the image to the one we have on our product page, then in the customize cart we can, tick the checkbox to include images in the cart and then have an additional setting which allows us to set the maximum width when the image is shown in the basket.
