RBS Worldpay Problems

Hi all,

one of my customers has been having intermittent problems with RBS Worldpay. Sometimes, when the cart is posted, there is an error screen that says that either the account is not valid or has been closed.

RBS are not accepting there is a problem, but we do know it is happening.

Every time I try, it goes through successfully.

Has anyone else had any experience of this?

I now have more information:

The error message says:

The information sent from the merchant's site is invalid or incomplete. Please send the following information to the merchant:

The transaction cannot be processed due to one or more of the following:


  • the merchant account is suspended

  • the order currency you selected is not supported

  • the authorisation mode is incorrect

  • test mode is unavailable

  • the installation is not live



It makes it look like Roman Cart is at fault but as most of the time it works fine it leads me to think it is the fault of RBS.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi Ian,

You need to post this in Integration, so that Support will see it; they might be able to offer an insight. Sorry I can't help with the actual problem.

WE use RBS Worldpay and have not received any reported problems
