Suppliers details on PM ?

Can we please have an additional data entry box for each product
on the Product Manager where we can enter useful information
such as our suppliers name and our buying prices etc?

It would be great if this could be included in the new control panel
(this handy addition would make it worth the wait)

Not at present.
We have been asked before to add the cost price, but the problem is that you might buy stock at different prices. In other words if you buy 1000 of the item on one occassion and you get it for X and then on another occassion you might get it for a different price. There are then multiple cost prices for a single itemcode and it gets very complicated.
Your request seems to be for a free text field, however with this then you would not be able to view statistical information on what is entered.
Please spell out the business case for this, as we would add something like this if we can see the best way to do it.
