Text on Free Delivery

Hi

We have a "Free Delivery if order is over £50" policy across our shop.

It works great and when customers put over £50 of goods into the cart, the delivery charge goes to £0.00 - which is great.

A problem recently arose where people, when seeing the £0.00, actually thought they had done something wrong and starting looking for a way to get the delivery back! (I know, it sounds a bit nuts but this has happened twice in a week now!! And they have moaned about it!!)

It there any way, to have a text line come up that says "Congratulations, you have qualified for Free Delivery" - (or we can edit it how we want) when they have put enough goods in the cart to hit the delivery charge of £0.00??

Can you not use the "tools" and then "change any text" option maybe?

Nice suggestion - but the only thing I can actually change in the cart when free delivery is achieved is the £0.00 - and there isn't an option for that as far as I can see.

I have a problem with this, I have two methods for shipping
First one is UK Mainland Only is based on price and if they spend over £150.00 it is free and the second is Collection from Shop which is free. Now when somebody qualifies for free shipping if they spend over £150.00, then the Collection from Shop is shown in the basket, so they think they have to collect from the shop!!!

Change the order of the shipping methods (using the green arrows) at 'configure'/'shipping'

Thanks support, but I have them in the following order already

UK Mainland Only

Collect from Shop

But when the Free Shipping is triggered by spending £150.00 + the only option that shows in the basket is Collect from Shop

Hi,

Have you checked that your Cart allows free shipping? Go to 'Tools/Options/Shipping.

Just checked that and there is no Option for free shipping
or do you mean make sure the
Do not allow the order to proceed with a shipping cost of zero : is not ticked
