Up Sell Cross Sell - form validation

   We have items that require the customer to pick a size. To make sure they do we have a form validation script on the item pages; so must select a size. A problem with the cross sell page is that we can not do the form validation if we want to include these items.
There may be two solutions:
1. An option not to include the tick box; so the customer has to click on the item to go to the items page.
2. An option in the product manager to include form scripts
