Hello.
It is my first question in the forum . I am currently testing the capacities and flexibility of Romancart before going on to pay for the features I need. So far so good but I bump into one problem :Let's say I have Product A and Product B Prod A has 3 options for shipping fees Prod B has also 3 options for shipping fees but these are different from Prod A. When I make the simulation and buy only the Prod A, the Prod B fee options also appear in the basket as an option. Is this the way it is or is my set up wrong ? Thank you in advance for your help, |

Hi Zouzi,
It seems you would need to use the 'Shipping Override' feature. So for your example lets say.. Product One Shipping is 5 Euros Product Two shipping is always 5 Euros more (10 Euros) You would access product two in the product manager and then you would place 5 in the field 'Shipping Override'. Now an extra 5 Euros will always be added to this products shipping. I hope this is suitable. Kind Regards |

Hello.
Tx for answering so fast. Well this looks fine to me but my shipping fees are bit more tricky. Example: Prod A . /shipping 1 1 item = 4.00 2 items = + 0.50 3 items = + 0.50 and so on. Prod A . /shipping 2 1 item = 6.00 2 items = + 0.80 3 items = + 0.80 and so on. Prod A . /shipping 3 1 item = 9.00 2 items = + 1 3 items = + 1 and so on. Prod B . /shipping 1 1 item = 5.00 2 items = +0.50 3 items = + 0.50 and so on. Prod B . /shipping 2 1 item = 11.00 2 items = + 5 3 items = + 5 and so on. Prod B . /shipping 3 1 item = 15.00 2 items = + 10 3 items = + 10 and so on. The Shipping override option does not look suitable to me ... but I might be wrong Edited by zouzi - 08 March 2011 at 3:02pm |

Hi again !
I would just like to know if my shipping costs above can be applied with Romancart or if this is just not realistic... Thank you, |
