What are these green symbols?

   I created a new product and the modifier for sizes wasn't working properly, so I copied the product T015 to create T016. T016 has this green square in the column "Ord" and the product works correctly on the site. I have tried copying T015 and T016 to create T017 and each time I do I find two things: 1. The green upward pointing arrow in the "Ord" column; and 2. The modifier for size does not work. From the store it reads "One Size".

I don't have these green symbols with any other product so I'm wondering what they are and if they are related to the size Modifier not working properly.
